Chester J. Pach is a faculty member in the History Department at Ohio University. He is a preeminent historian in the field of U.S. foreign relations and a leading authority on the Eisenhower presidency. Pach is the author of The Presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower (rev. ed.); Arming the Free World: The Origins of the United States Military Assistance Program, 1945-1950; and The Johnson Years.
