Claire Holleran is Lecturer in Classics and Ancient History at the University of Exeter. She is co-editor of the upcoming Demography and the Graeco-Roman World (with April Pudsey, 2011) and author of Shopping in Ancient Rome: the Retail Trade in the Late Republic and the Principate (2012).
