A New Response to Youth Crime

Antisocial and criminal behaviour involving children and young people has been of increasing public concern over the last 25 years. As an accompaniment to the Report of the Independent Commission on Youth Crime and Antisocial Behaviour (2010), this book takes a new look at the problem of youth offending and government, and examines society's response to this. The main focus rests on England and Wales, but the nature of responses in other parts of the world are also analyzed for comparative purposes.
