Action Research. TVET Trainers' Practice and Perceived Contribution

Scientific Study from the year 2022 in the subject Sociology - Methodology and Methods, grade: 1, , course: Action research, language: Ethiopic, abstract: This study is designed to examine trainers' practice in conducting action research and identify their perception of the contribution of action research which enables/hinders trainers in conducting action research to use their research findings for their professional development and to training quality improvement in Technical Vocational Educational and training(TVET) program providing college of woliso polytechnic college. In order to attain the objectives, the study used both quantitative and qualitative research approaches for data collection and analysis with mixed research methods. The participants of the study were 31 trainers of woliso TVET college who were selected using purposive sampling. Both primary and secondary data sources were used. The primary data source was trainers of the colleges, and the college documents were used as the secondary data source.
