Adam Davy's Five Dreams About Edward II

1878. The poet Davy, who, as he himself informs us, lived near London, and was well known far and wide, tells how, within the space of twelve months, beginning on a Wednesday in August, and ending on a Thursday in September of the following year, he dreamed five dreams, concerning Edward the king, prince of Wales, which are recounted in a hundred and sixty-eight octosyllabic lines, rhyming in couplets. This volume, edited by F.J. Furnivall, also includes: The Life of St. Alexius; Solomon's Book Wisdom; St. Jeremie's 15 Tokens Before Doomsday; The Lamentation of Souls.
