Analysis of the external costs of the Zurich airport

A well operating transport system is vital for our society. It enables the trade of products and services, but also the private mobility that illustrate our lives nowadays. The increasing demand and supply of modes of transportation, including air transportation cause different specific external costs, which are not borne by the perpetrator in full, but rather non-participants are compelled to take on these costs. The objectives of this work contain first the definition and analysis of these external costs of the aviation traffic and second the execution of a meta-analysis of external costs caused by aerial transportation.
