In Cv/VAR series no.10, Anatomy of the Body, 112 panel paintings made in 2001 and 2013 by N.P.James ROI constructed a metaphor for the human physical system. A viscous surface of pulped and washed colour interprets the intricate framework of muscles, arteries, bone and soft tissue, all infused with an internal dynamic of potent nervous energy.
