Peng Wang is Associate Professor of Environmental Science and Engineering at the Water Desalination and Reuse Center of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. He obtained his PhD degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. He has been working in the field of intelligent environmental materials since the inception of his academic career as a principal investigator, and his research works have been consistently published on top journals and highlighted by international media.

Jian Chang is currently a research engineer in Professor Peng Wang's group at KAUST. He obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in polymer material and engineering from Jilin University, China. His research interest is in stimuli-responsive materials toward environmental applications and energy harvesting.

Lianbin Zhang is Full Professor of chemistry at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He was a postdoctoral researcher and research scientist in Professor Peng Wang's group at KAUST from 2011 to 2016. He received his BSc and PhD degrees in polymer materials and engineering from Jilin University, China. His scientific interests are focused on functionalized interfacial materials, stimuli-responsive nanomaterials, and their applications in water and environment.
