A necessary condition for dynamic economic development is the stability of the national banking system, corresponding to economic realities and meeting the requirements of the economy. The crisis phenomena of the 1990s in Southeast Asia, Russia and Mexico, the current global financial and economic crisis confirmed the special importance of forming such a model of global and national banking systems that would ensure dynamic and sustainable global economic development. The accomplished analysis of the role of the banking systems in the development of the modern economic confirms the relevance of this study in regards to the processes of evolution, structuring and organization of national banking systems of economically developed countries and takes into account national economic realities of the USA, EU, Japan, Canada and Russia and features of transitional transforming economy development. ????????????? ????????????? ??????
