The Prussian State Library and the Reichstauschstelle (Reich Exchange Office) were at the heart of a network responsible for reallocating vast quantities of printed works confiscated from ‘enemies of the Reich’ and persecuted Jews to academic libraries and other institutions in the Third Reich. With a foreword by historians Hans Erich Bödeker and Gerd-J. Bötte and a preface by Barbara Schneider-Kempf.
