This volume is designed as an aid to research into international connections in the poetry of the present day. It covers the scholarly studies published between 1945 and 1988 pertaining to the reception (in the broadest sense of the term) accorded in German-speaking areas to poetry written in other European languages, with special reference to the relation between this body of poetry and poetry in German.
