Boolean Algebra

The science of thinking and reasoning correctly was first studied extensively by the Greek philosopher Aristotle. This science was developed as an abstract mathematical system by the British Professor George Boole of Queen's College. This system created by the excellent wisdom of Boole, often called Boolean algebra, was one of the most significant achievements in the world and marks the genuine origin of the logic of symbolism. This book takes the reader through Boolean Algebra. It discusses the well-known Switching Algebra (isomorphic to Boolean Algebra) invented by the illustrious American mathematician and engineer Claude Elwood Shannon, and concludes with a novel method of analyzing electric circuits containing both switches and resistors.
