Many materials such as abalone, spider-silk, silica nano-particles, Kevlar and Twaron are used in the vests¿ production. The characteristics of both Kevlar and Twaron are similar, they both are wetted by a resin to achieve a material that is light and rigid exhibiting astonishing mechanical strength.
