Peter Jäger, born 1959: joined the German Airforce in 1981 and stayed in the armed forces until he retired in 2013 as a captain. In these years he became metrologist. He served in the United States Airforce in the years 1984 and 1985 and was stationed at Lowry Afb in Denver, Colorado. He worked as a calibration technician, later leader of a mobile calibration laboratory and got an accreditation for a temperature calibration lab.
