Carnavalization and anthropophagy in Carlos Reichenbach's metacinema

An analysis of the work of filmmaker Carlos Reichenbach, based on his films made in São Paulo's Boca do Lixo. The book emphasizes metalinguistic, anthropophagic and carnivalizing aspects in the filmography of the director, who created a unique work in Brazilian cinema. The study uses elements from philosophy, literature, eroticism, music, discourse analysis and cinema itself, in self-referential productions.
