Coping with Stress

Stress can be very damaging to your health and can even lead to death. When a stressful situation occurs, chemicals within the brain begin to rise. These chemicals will weaken the immune system and make the body more prone to sickness and disease. In most cases, those who deal with stress learn to adapt to their stressful lifestyles instead of getting rid of the issues that are causing them to stress out. Although one may feel that they have the stress under control, the body's nervous system and other internal organs are silently fighting the battle. In the end, the body will slowly break down and disease, cancer, chronic headaches and migraines will set in.
