DISCRETE MATHEMATICS

The textbook introduces propositional logic (Chapter 1). Chapter 2 discusses predicates and quantifiers. In Chapter 3, sets are presented. Then, Chapter 4 introduces the functions, and Chapter 5 describes the sequences and summations. In Chapter 6, the number theory and matrices are presented. Then, Chapter 7 introduces mathematical induction. Chapter 8 describes the recursive definitions and algorithms, and in Chapter 9, the relations are introduced. Finally, Chapter 10 introduces the graphs.The textbook is mainly aimed at engineering and computer science undergraduate first-year students as an introductory textbook.
