Diagrams are a determinant form of contemporary imagery. For the first time, this work brings together key historical sources, offering a variety of perspectives on the multiple dimensions of diagrammatic thinking and presentation. The texts extend from ancient Greece to post-structuralism, and a pictorial section with commentary illustrates the rich history of diagrammatics.
