Draping for Fashion Design

This practical book explains how to achieve great designs and creative cuts by seeing ideas come to life three dimensionally. By manipulating and pinning fabric on the dress form or house model, fashion designers can visualise their ideas and become more confident with their own creative visions. Theresa Parker worked for many years as a costume designer for TV and film, and made many costumes for period dramas. She now teaches fashion design at University for the Creative Arts, where she is able to combine her love of contemporary fashion design with traditional and heritage skills.
