In the field of endodontics, cryotherapy has been frequently used following periapical surgical procedures and during root canal treatment to reduce postoperative pain. The objective of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to evaluate the effect of intracanal cryotherapy on postendodontic pain after root canal therapy.
