Financial Regulation and Bank Performance

This book focuses on the impact on financial regulation and examines the impact of financial regulation on bank performances from different perspectives. More specifically, this study investigates how bank sector reforms and bank regulation and supervision affect the competition, stability and risk-taking behavior in banking system.




Shaofang Li is an associate professor at the Department of Finance and received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Ljubljana. Her research interests include financial risk management, asset pricing, behavior finance, green finance, and quantitative finance. Her articles were published in several international journals, including International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, and books (e.g., Financial Institutions in the Global Financial Crisis at Springer). She also serves as a referee for journals including International Review of Economics and Finance, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, Applied Economics, and Applied Economics Letters.
