In this manuscript some theoretical background and interrelations of Geoinformatics shall be assembled. Also the most important formulae of Mathematics, Surveying, Geodesy and Cartography will be presented in short. The author studied Surveying and Geodesy at the Technische Universität München (TUM) from 1991 to 1996. Among others, these studies include the province of Geoinformatics. During his career as scientific assistant, esp. in the area of Geoinformatics, he wrote programs in different programming languages for IT projects and for private purposes. The private interest for algorithmic basics has led to an extensive collection of programs in this area.
