Greek Mythology Facts: Zeus and his sister, Hera, were the only children born to the Titan Cronus. Cronus ended up eating Zeus, who was swaddled in a rock. The Greeks eventually made Zeus the ruler of Olympus, and his sister, Athena, became the Queen of Olympus. Zeus, however, was not a part of the first war, as the Titan Prometheus had no desire to participate in the conflict. Women were also ruled by the gods.
