Health and Social Factors for Healthy Development in the Emerging Adulthood

Social surrounding outcomes are a) direct impacts of diseases, and b) indirect impacts, which are stress response, protective factors and health-behaviour. Health factors influence capacities for social interactions and are interconnected with social factors. Family is one of the most important social networks for development. Socioeconomic status is a likely contributor to a healthy development, as parents¿ psychological, demographic and economic disposition and behaviour. The individual¿s education, social surrounding, control; social and personality characteristics contribute to the health-development in the emerging adulthood. The stress response is affected by personal and cognitive predisposition, expectancies, health beliefs or perceptions, and individual practices and plans.
