Water is an indispensable part of human being. Water is extracted from groundwater which owing to its property of universal solvent tends to dissolve all minerals and ores presents in the earth crust in it. As a result of this number of heavy metals gets introduce into the water. This contaminated water is ingested by inhabitants where tap water in not available. As a result of this there exposure to these heavy metals is high. This book sheds lights on heavy metals in Central India with respect to iron and manganese.
