I Want to See the Baby

We saw Ezra begin to fly in his dream-sleep, while he slept in the book I WANT TO FLY. Now in I WANT TO SEE THE BABY, Ezra sees the nativity scene in a stable outside his church. There is no baby in the manger. He asks several times to see the baby. Grandma explains he will have to wait for Jesus' birthday - Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve, Ezra falls to sleep and dreams of flying once again. This time he flies over the shepherd and his sheep, the wisemen and their gifts, the sleeping cattle, the angel above, Mary and Joseph kneeling by the crib where baby Jesus lays with outstretched arms, blessing all the world. Ezra sees the baby!
