Impact of Age and Gender diversity on Employee Performance

The book intends to highlight the importance of Age and Gender diversity on the performance of employees in a company. Performance improves with diversified age groups and gender as weakness from advanced aged groups are compensated by the younger workers who are Tech-savvy while experienced old workers also help the young ones. Women are naturally critical thinkers and help men in boardroom when it comes to decision making by improving organization performance and reduce conflicts which are counter-productive. Achieving gender diversity is not only important because it is the right thing to do in society in which gender equality is a major issue, but it also has the potential to facilitate the attainment of internal and external corporate objectives. The study recommended that management of ZCSA should continue to uphold and promote diversity policies and practices in its operations given the importance and benefits that diversity provides to the organization.
