Interactive Math Notebook: Geometry is designed to allow students in grades six through eight to become active participants in their own learning by creating an interactive math notebook. The instructions given in the book lay out an easy-to-follow plan for setting up, creating, and maintaining an interactive notebook for studying geometry. The lessons cover units of study in lines and angles; two-dimensional figures; circles; three-dimensional figures; and perimeter, area, and volume. This interactive approach to diagraming geometry concepts gives students many opportunities to utilize models and demonstrate their knowledge through artistic creation, labeling, and verbal explanation.
