In a symposium in honor of Kurt Koszyk, eminent communications scientist and founder of the series Dortmunder Beiträge zur Zeitungsforschung [Dortmund contributions to newspaper research], 30 lectures were held which not only review the history of the press during the past six decades, but also illustrate that journalism itself writes history. ?
