In the modern world of today, computers have almost revolutionized language teaching and learning. Computer-based instruction has been prevalent in most learning environments over the past few decades; however, some students may still be reluctant to use them due to the apprehension and fear computers bring with themselves. This fear and apprehension in the use of computers may pose learners problems on their future encounter with computers. Anxiety in employing computers is of interest to researchers because of the inverse effect it has on computer self-efficacy.The more anxious students feel in using computers, the less self-efficient they become in accomplishing a task. This book includes a relatively rich literature review and a detailed empirical analysis of language learning styles and strategies as predictors of computer use anxiety and computer self-efficacy. It is hoped that language learners, teachers, researchers, materials developers, and policy makers will find this book a valuable resource.
