Living in Dante's Hell - Every Action has Consequences

Essay from the year 2012 in the subject Literature - Basics, grade: A, Lindenwood University, language: English, abstract: In Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy - Inferno, each type of sinner is punished with living in a different part of hell. Depending on the severity of the sin, the people have to endure a harder or less hard punishment. According to Dante, all people are responsible for their own future and have to deal with the consequences. As in The Divine Comedy - Inferno, this is also true in real life, where people's actions always have a consequence, may it be instant or in the long run.
