Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach / Josephine von Knorr. Briefwechsel 1851-1908

The extensive correspondence between Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach and the poet and translator Josephine Freiin von Knorr dating from 1851–1908 documents the lifelong attachment of these two friends and their literary, social, and personal lives. The importance of the correspondence is amplified by the fact that it began a decade earlier than Ebner-Eschenbach’s surviving journals.
