Markion und der biblische Kanon / Christian Literature and Christian History

This publication asks whether the works of early Christian and patristic authors constitute 'literature', and how historians of the early church and of late antiquity should use this enormous body of writing. Can it be judged on literary terms, and if so, how? Or is it simply an adjunct to the study of early Christianity?
