Mobile Mapping

This book presents the first in-depth discussion of how specific geographical and historical conditions shape the way in which mobile phone maps are read, deployed, and engaged with in daily life.

Clancy Wilmott is currently a member of the European Research Council project Charting the Digital, a 5-year interdisciplinary project across sociology, media and play studies and geography. She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the project based at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies of the University of Warwick: a position geared towards research on mapping, space and media. In addition, she is involved a European Research Council Proof of Concept grant with the University of Warwick to build a platform for a mobile and digital game for fieldwork.
