Moral Transgression The Scarletletter Adambede Tessofthed'urbervilles

Out of a special class of writers, Hawthorne, Eliot and Hardy have been deeply influenced by the above ideas and issues. My effort is to interpret and understand on a wider perspective, The Scarlet Letter, Adam Bede and Tess of the D¿Urbervilles and the transgression main characters; of their moral accountability for what they do, the quality of the age they lived in, their psyche, their grandeur and their dignity and integrity in suffering and punishment. The three novels are a straightforward portrayal of a scandalous and a grave moral issue that makes the reader think and reflect on the conventions and values that have been part of the foundation of social framework for a long time.
