Music Therapy And Psychomotor Skills In Early Childhood And Primary Education

We will learn the benefits and fundamental principles of music therapy in primary education and special education. Also, we will see its advantages when using it in children with specific educational support needs, we will apply it to students with hearing and visual functional diversity problems, autism, cerebral palsy and intellectual disability. Finally, we will also learn about the most significant music therapy methods such as the Benenzon method, the GIM method, the behaviorist or behaviorist method, the analytical method and the creative method or Nordoff Robbins. In addition, we will deal with the subject of psychomotor skills in the Early Childhood Education stage, defining the term and knowing the importance and relationship of the same with this educational stage.
