This second part-volume of Ferdinand Tönnies' Posthumous Writings contains mainly unpublished texts from the period 1919-1936. Brigitte Zander-Lüllwitz, Germanistin und Slawistin, stand bis 2004 im höheren Schuldienst. Sie hat Arbeiten zur Namenforschung sowie zur Allgemeinen und Germanistischen Linguistik publiziert.
Jürgen Zander, Soziologe und Philosoph, war bis 2004 Leiter der Handschriftenabteilung der Schleswig-Holsteinischen Landesbibliothek in Kiel, wo er den Tönnies-Nachlass bibliothekarisch bearbeitete.
