Optimization Study on Container Operations in Maritime Transportation

Due to the economic depression and fierce competition, ship liners have to seek advantages to survive. Optimizing operational costs is an imperative task. This book talks about the optimization of maritime container operations, i.e., container loading, container pre-marshalling and container stowage. Every exported container goes through the three operations and we find that the improvement room is considerable.
