Opto-Electronic Properties of Surface-Confined Terpyridyl Complexes

Surface-confined inorganic-organic hybrid materials are the exceelent architecture to assemble the molecular building blocks at the nano-scale.These hybrid constructions are the fruitful for various applications in the material science, namely surface-based sensors, catalyst, solid state devices, etc.In this context, the very recent progress made by the author is highlighted in the area of opto-electronic properties of the Fe, Ru, Os-terpyridyl complexes-based hybrid structures onto the different solid supports including glass, ITO, quartz and silicon.
