Dr. Pawan Kumar Rakesh
Dr. Rakeshis serving as an Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand, Srinagar, India. Currently, he is the Coordinator of the Design Innovation Center, NIT Uttarakhand.He has also served as Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering (2013-2016), and Associate Dean (Faculty Welfare) from 2016 to2020. Working in a growing organization, he has got substantial exposure to several lab developments, academic structure and student welfare. He has authored 45articles published in reputed International/National journals and conferences. He has also organized two international conferences and ten workshops in the Institute. He has edited fourbooks, namely, 'Processing of Green Composites'ISBN 978-981-13-6019-0. Springer; Advances in Engineering Design,ISBN 978-981-334-018-3, Springer; Joining Processes for Dissimilar and Advanced Materials, ISBN: 9780323853996, Elsevier; and Cellulose Composites: Processing and Characterization'ISBN:978-3-11-076869-5, De Gruyter. He has contributed sixteenbook chapters in a different book published by Woodhead Publishing, UK; Wiley-VCH, Verlag Gmbh, Germany; and Springer Nature Singapore Pte. Ltd. Prof. J. Paulo Davim
J. Paulo Davim is a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Aveiro, Portugal. He has more than 35years of teaching and research experience in manufacturing, materials, and mechanical engineering. He also has an interest inmanagement, engineering education and higher education for sustainability. He has worked as an evaluator of projects for the ERC-European Research Council and other international research agencies as well as an examiner of PhD thesis for many universitiesin different countries. In addition, he has edited/co-edited more than 300books and authored/co-authored more than 15 books, 100 book chapters, and 600 articles for journals and conferences.
