Even in Archaic times in Greece, Homer's Iliad had canonical status. The occupation with this work started at a very early stage, and was of far-reaching significance. This completed edition of 7 volumes presents a collection of commentaries from Antiquity on Homer's Iliad from the 3rd century BC onwards. Vols. 1-5 contain the texts in Greek, Vols. 6-7 the indexes and addenda.
