Queensgurl Est. 1960: Self Love Is the Best Love

This book is a glimpse into my relationship with my mother and being her caretaker during her battle with the AIDS virus. It is my story told completely from events that happened in my life. It is about lessons learned about forgiveness, healing hearts, loving myself and never giving up hope. Anyone who may stumble across this book and is struggling with being a caretaker for a loved one please understand trouble doesn't last always and joy definitely will come in the morning. Remember to give yourself a break. Remember self-love is the best love. Once I truly learned how to love myself and get out of my own way in came my blessings. I was blocking my blessings by letting fear hold me back. I was blocking my blessings by holding on to grudges, I was blocking my blessings by not forgiving. How could I expect God to forgive me if I could not find it in my heart to forgive others? I am in a great place in my life right now. I am in the habit of practicing gratitude. I truly believe in Karma and I act accordingly. I no longer live my life with regrets because you cannot change the past and it is a horrible way to live. Regret keeps you bound to the past and impedes your progress.. Im learning how to live in the moment and enjoy doing the things I love to do. I hope to inspire others to overcome any difficulties life may through at you. Trust and believe if this Queensgurl can keep the faith so can you. You don't realize how strong you are until you have to be! Peace, Love and light. Jill Williams is a native New Yorker who currently lives in Northern, Virginia.
