A small village at the foot of Rauschberg, a massive mountain. It is bear hunting season around 1830 and the young nobleman Florian is dragged along by his uncle, although he prefers living his life between the pages of a book. During a trip to the village's search, he meets the strange and quiet Theo. Soon he realises that there's more than just a little history between Theo, his family and the bear his uncle wishes to kill so desperately. The hunting trip turns into an almost magical adventure for the two young men.

Christine has been writing stories ever since she learned how to read and write in school. Writing has always been a huge part of her life. From fanfiction to online roleplay sites to her own works, she's never given up on the dream of becoming an author. Her huge inspiration is Anne Rice, and beside writing passionately, she's an avid reader and reviewer. Her favourite books are fantasy ones and queer stories. When she's not writing for leisure, Christine is working as an editor in marketing and a freelance writer for special interest magazines. She's got a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature in German, English and Spanish. Rauschberg is her debut novel and has been translated by herself.
