Sound Source Localization

The localization of sound is a fundamental requirement for all auditorysystems and has motivated much research.  This comprehensive volumebrings together topics from many specialties that have been touched uponin other volumes of the Springer Handbook of Auditory Research.Reviewing sound source localization capacities and mechanisms in avariety of organisms, this volume provides a synthesis and update on thetopic that is both original and timely. The authors treat sound sourcelocalization in a comparative context with an emphasis on modeling andcomputational mechanisms. About the Editors:  Arthur N.
