Standardization of Infant/Toddler Sensory Profile in Regional Language

Main objective is to standardize Infant/Toddler Sensory Profile (ITSP) Tamil language. Five hundred Typically Developing Children (TDP) and fifty Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) Children, aged 0 to 36 months were included through convenience sampling. ITSP was administered individually for both groups to assess sensory processing abilities in infants and toddler. The internal reliability of Tamil version of ITSP was adequate and it discriminates typically developing children from SPD at .0001 level. We can conclude that the SSP has good internal reliability & discriminant ability and also used for screening the infants and toddler with SPD.
