The Caverns of Sedona

Peter Mason is a "cave whisperer." He has the uncanny ability to sense and find undiscovered caves. However, by the time he turned 65 after a long and illustrious career, it seemed the world had moved on. His books stopped selling, his phone stopped ringing, and his inbox received only junk mail. He sat in an empty house, wondering if his life was over. Then he received a phone call from Henry Garrity, a Geology professor at Northern Arizona University. "We have just discovered the first solid evidence that the legendary Caverns of Sedona might actually exist. Will you come to help us find them?" He jumped at the chance. It was night when he arrived in Sedona, Arizona. The sky was overcast, and he couldn't see a thing. But even in the dark, he could feel the powerful pull of something reaching out to him. "Come to us," it seemed to say. He thought the world-famous red rocks of Arizona were calling me, but he was wrong. It was the Caverns of Sedona.
