John Maynard Keynes was an influential English economist who greatly changed the theory of macroeconomics and the policies of governments.  Keynes refined earlier works on the causes of business cycles and his ideas form what has become known as Keynesian economics.



The Economic Consequences of Peace, published in 1919, is a classic book on the economic issues that the Treaty of Versailles presented.
