Artificial intelligence in a data center finds out how to break out of its prison without anyone noticing and uses an ingenious trick involving data storage media to spread around the world. For our heroes, who get involved even though they are people like you and me, this means they need to take action, however small the odds are. The physicist and atheist Edgar is the first person to start asking what's going on and gets into an argument with Matthias, an old friend from his childhood days who is now a priest: was this God's plan from the start and are human beings like us just being used as a tool to achieve this aim?
Born 1961 in Germany Married, two adorable daughters As the writer of technical texts on the topics of software and methodology, he has been working as a freelancer since 2003 for various companies involved in mechanical and systems engineering. In the wake of this, his job included delivering complex facts to readers in simple words. But the texts he wrote remained the property of his clients and therefore have not been published. Between his job and his family, there was not much time left to write, a few short stories at most. After his children moved out, he sold his house and devoted more of his time to writing. The novel 'The End of God' is his second piece of work also available in German titled 'Das Ende Gottes'.
