Essay from the year 2009 in the subject Business economics - Business Management, Corporate Governance, grade: 1,7, (International University of Applied Sciences) (International Management), course: Business Administration, language: English, abstract: Introduction The McKinsey 7-S Framework - A Short Overview Invented in the 1980s and still a possibility for success today - The McKinsey 7-S Framework. The 7-S Framework not only considers a glance at the top or the bottom of an iceberg, rather the connection of both sections. The core idea is that organization effectiveness stems from the connection between hard-structure like structure, strategy, and systems similarly from soft-structure like style, skills, staff, and something accurately related as superordinate goals. According to Peters and Waterman (2004), In search of excellence, firstly the idea is about a multiplicity, which influences the development of a company. Secondly, these 7 parts are intended to be a interconnected system. And thirdly, there is no starting point or implied hierarchy; all parts together influence each other.
