Henry Osborn Taylor (1856-1941) was an American historian and legal scholar. Taylor graduated from Harvard University in 1878 and, later, from Columbia Law School. Taylor was a philosopher and the author of several important works on ancient and medieval history. In 1927, he served as the president of the American Historical Association.
